WHAT PURPOSE ASTRONOMICAL TELESCOPE USED?

WHAT PURPOSE ASTRONOMICAL TELESCOPE USED?

When it comes to choosing the right astronomical telescope, you should first consider your requirements. You must find out the reason why you want to have a telescope. In other words, you must know your needs of having such device. Hence, it is recommended that you must go through deeply all the visible as well as hidden aspects of this device. Here, in this article, we'll try to explain some tips and ideas on how to choose right one for your needs.

There are mainly two parameters that should be kept in view while looking for a device i.e. aperture and focal length. Here, aperture means the diameter of mirror or lens, and focal length means the distance from a particular objective mirror or lens to point or where a particular image is created. Thus, with some simple calculation, you will be able to find out right one for your requirements.

What is Telescope Aperture?
A telescope aperture can be described as a physical or visible size of a particular telescope. It means that the bigger the aperture is the more light collecting ability a particular telescope has. Take for instance, a suggested aperture for a first telescope need to be minimum 100mm especially for refracting device, or about 150mm for a reflecting device or telescope. If you analyze these figures, you will know the importance of the aperture.

It is a scientific truth that the pupil of our eye can reach about 8mm in diameter especially when completely adapted to a dark location. So, it's simply equivalent to an area of around 50 square mm. This is the main reason that a refracting telescope normally has an aperture of about 100mm in diameter, and thus covers an area of about 7850mm2. It means that a telescope with 100 mm aperture is simply capable of capturing 7850/50 = 157 x light. It is then available via the eyepiece of a particular telescope. Therefore, it means that if you look through a particular telescope, it will let you to discover objects about 157 times larger than actual size.

If you follow the same calculation, you will notice that a 150mm aperture telescope can help you to see objects that are 353 times larger than would be seen with your unaided eye. In all, if you want to avail the maximum benefit of a particular astronomical telescope, you need to select maximum size of aperture. This will certainly help you accomplishing a desired task.

What is Magnification and Focal length?
Now, have a look at what are magnification and focal length? A focal length represents the physical length of a particular telescope or it may represent its optical arrangement. It means that a small-sized focal length can provide you a view of wide field such as vision of night sky. On the other hand a long focal length can offer you a very narrow field of vision or view, but with the objects displaying relatively larger than original size.

Now, come to magnification of a particular telescope. It is actually a combination of telescope, telescope eyepiece and focal length. Needless to say that a telescope of a particular focal length can offer a picture of a particular size that could be fixed and won't be vary. Moreover, the eyepiece is used just like a microscope to view desired images. It means that if you change the eyepiece, the magnification of a particular astronomical telescope will also be changed.

7 NATURAL CONDITIONS PLANET MARS UNABLE INHABITED HUMAN

MARS
Liputan6.com, California - It is no secret if Mars became the name of the main priority planets of some being studied by NASA. Moreover, the American space agency has found the water content contained in the surface of the Red Planet. Suddenly, speculation that Mars is worth living in humans was sticking out. True or false, surely or not, all remains a big question mark up to now. In fact, NASA is still trying to find a bright spot, whether it is true that the planet that has Phobos and Deimos moon will be inhabited by humans in the future.

Nevertheless, some researchers are optimistic that humans can live on Mars in the future. Various steps even prepared NASA so that later the process of human colonization on Mars can run smoothly. However, with all sorts of technological advances being sought, is Mars going to be a viable place for humans to replace Earth?

Although it is still unclear, some researchers reveal the possibility of humans to live on Mars is still very minimal. According to information reported Time, Thursday (26/10/2017), there are several reasons that cause Mars is impossible to live in. Most of the reasons come from the state, climate and ecosystem of the Red Planet itself. Here's the explanation.

1. Radiation
Mars described NASA researchers have high levels of radiation. There are two dangerous radiation contents on Mars, among them Solar Energetic Particles (SEPs) and Galactic Cosmic Rays (GCRs).

Both can bombard humans if they are not adequately supported by antiradiation devices while on Mars. Further disclosed, if humans inhabit Mars by spending about 180 days, then they will experience increased radiation as much as 15 times.

2. Temperature
Temperature became one of the great obstacles of humans to be perched on Mars. For information, the average temperature on Earth is about 57 degrees Fahrenheit (14 degrees Celsius). However, the average temperatures on Mars are at temperatures around -81 degrees Fahrenheit (-63 degrees Celsius) which becomes very unlikely temperatures that make humans able to survive without the help of sophisticated tools.

If humans survive in the Martian temperatures with the help of a tool that is so minimal for 68 days, then they will certainly die.

3. Atmosphere
In addition to the state of radiation and temperature, the atmosphere is also a matter of concern to researchers. For comparison the Earth's atmosphere layer is 100 times denser than the Martian atmosphere layer. The Earth's atmosphere layer is made up of 78 percent nitrogen, 21 percent oxygen and 1 percent of the gas pool.

Meanwhile, the Martian atmosphere has a carbon dioxide content of 96 percent which is very toxic to humans. The rest of the atmospheric layers contain argon gas, nitrogen, and other harmful gases.

4. Gravity
Although humans can outsmart the issue of gravity, this is still a consideration of the researchers. The rate of gravity on Mars is only 38 percent so it is still possible for humans to be able to walk on Mars. The consideration is that humans will be feared can not walk and move freely because it is limited by the level of gravity of the Red Planet.

While on Earth, the human body can accept the "One-G" gravity condition which is capable of moving its skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular well.

5. Space Germs (Bacteria Planet)
Mars is not Earth. What is clear, ecosystems and microbial creatures that exist in the Red Planet is very different when compared with Earth. The researchers suspect there is a space germs (planetary bacteria) that 'live' in the air of Mars.

Although not deeply investigated, this becomes one of the important issues. Given the events of Apollo astronauts who must be quarantined for 21 days for fear of contracting space germs after returning from the Moon.

6. Infrastructure
Although Mars has been revealed to have the possibility to grow plants, it is in fact still in doubt. Mars temperature humidity is still difficult to control. If the plants grown on Mars get the help of excess oxygen content, then the risk of a big explosion will occur. Unfortunately, there are still few who regard this as a serious matter.

7. Mental Condition
This is what the 'burden' of the astronauts if indeed they will be deployed to fly on Mars. Eight months' journey to Mars would certainly 'scramble' their mental state.

Therefore, mental astronauts should be trained to be resilient when in outer space. However, what if the future humans have to survive against all the impossibilities that exist on Mars? Certainly difficult. It is not easy to know each person that they have a good mental state when they want to go into space.
